Gooey Pecan Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 oz.) pkg. butter pecan cake mix
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. margarine
    2 large eggs
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, 1 egg and 1/2 cup margarine.
    Press into bottom of lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Set aside. Combine 2 eggs, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 1/2 cup margarine. Beat until smooth.
    Stir in pecans and pour over cake layer.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Cover loosely with aluminum foil the last 10 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares. Yields 3 dozen.
