Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
    3 carrots, scraped and shredded (about 1 c.)
    1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. basil and pepper
    1/4 c. grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Mix, forming into loaf.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
