Corn Meal Mush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sprinkle meal into rapidly boiling water.
    Add salt and heat, stirring over very low heat, about 1/2 hour until quite thick. Spoon into bowls, top with butter and serve hot for old-fashioned breakfast.
    Serves 4.
