Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cranberries
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 eggs
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or oleo, melted
Preparation

Grease well a 10-inch pie plate.
Spread cranberries over bottom of plate.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and nuts.
Set aside.
Beat eggs well.
Add 1 cup sugar gradually, mixing thoroughly.
Add flour, melted butter and shortening.
Beat well. Pour this batter over top of berries.
Bake in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 60 minutes and crust is golden.
Cut like pie.
Serve warm or cold with generous scoops of vanilla ice cream.
