Italian Meat Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lb. ground beef
2 large cans crushed tomatoes
1 to 2 Tbsp. dried parsley (dried)
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. oregano (dried)
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground thyme (dried)
1 bay leaf
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. basil (dried)
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Saute onions and garlic in olive oil.
Brown hamburger and pour off excess oil.
Pour onions, garlic and olive oil into hamburger.
Add tomatoes and spices.
Simmer uncovered or with lid cracked 3 hours or until sauce is thickened.
Stir occasionally. Remove bay leaves.
Serve over hot spaghetti.
Add Parmesan cheese.
