Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced cucumbers
    5 diced medium white onions
    1/2 c. ice cream salt
    2 sweet peppers, diced
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. clear vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix together salt, cucumbers and onions. Cover with ice for 3 hours. Drain well. Mix together with remaining ingredients. Heat to a boiling point. Seal in prepared canning jars.
