Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening or Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
Add eggs, shortening and milk and mix, then add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Put in greased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour or stick toothpick in middle.
If nothing comes off of the toothpick, it is done.
