Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 cans (15 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1/3 c. tomato ketchup
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onions, garlic and shortening.
    Drain off excess fat and stir in the tomato sauce, tomato ketchup, oregano leaves, salt and pepper.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
    Stir occasionally.
