Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/16 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except vanilla in a double boiler; mix thoroughly.
    Cook, beating steadily until frosting peaks, about 7 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and beat until thick.
