6 Apples, cored & pared & sliced
1/2 c. Water
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Vanilla
3/4 c. Sugar
2/3 c. Water
1/3 c. Butter
Preparation

Work with your fingers until crumbly,
Spread over apples, bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serve hot with cream.
