Cheese Danish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Unroll 1 can crescent rolls and put in the bottom of the baking dish, pressing perforations together.
Ease the dough up the sides a little bit.
Combine the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg and the vanilla.
Mix until smooth with a mixer.
Pour over the dough. Unroll the second package of crescent rolls.
Lay on top and pinch the sides together, top and bottom.
Mix together the remaining sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
Melt the butter and combine with the sugar mixture.
Pour over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Refrigerate overnight before serving.
