Pecan Turtles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Kraft caramels
    1 lb. more or less pecans (halves or pieces)
    1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat caramels (after removing cellophane wrapping) on low heat.
    Add hot water, little by little.
    (Follow recipe on bag for candy apples.)
    Heat chocolate chips slowly. While caramels are melting, spread pecan pieces on cookie sheet.
    Spoon caramel on pecan pieces.
    (Not too close to each other.)
    Chill cookie sheet (with caramel drops on pecan pieces) in refrigerator or freezer. Remove cookie sheet from chill and \"lift\" caramel out with a fork and place on empty cookie sheet or plate. Use the back of a spoon to \"paint\" the chocolate on top of the caramel. Chill or eat 'em while they are warm.
