Speedy Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. 4x sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan; blend in brown sugar and salt.
    Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Blend in 4x sugar gradually.
    Add vanilla and mix well. Frost 2 layers.
