Butter Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 to 2 c. chopped nuts
    Powdered sugar for rolling
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar.
    Add salt and extract, flour and nuts. Mix well.
    Refrigerate until easy to handle.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 - 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
    Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
