Boeuf Melange - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef, 2-inch chunks
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 can undiluted beef consomme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium sliced onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients in casserole.
    Mix flour and bread crumbs together and stir into casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Serves 4.
