Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 potatoes, cubed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. milk
    1 qt. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until soft and drain. Add 1 quart milk and heat. Season to taste.
    Work the butter into the flour.
    Add the egg and 1/4 cup milk, using enough milk to make mixture thin enough to drop into the hot milk. Drop by teaspoonfuls into the hot milk. Cover the saucepan and cook about 10 minutes. Serve at once.
