Oriental Pork Wontons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. Jones sausage
1/2 c. shredded carrots
1/4 c. chopped water chestnuts
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. dry sherry
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. grated ginger root
1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. wonton wrappers
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
sweet sauce for dipping
Preparation

Cook ground pork until no pink remains; drain.
Stir in carrots, water chestnuts, soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and ginger root.
Mix well.
Lay out one wonton wrapper at a time and spoon 1 teaspoon of filling onto the center.
Brush edges with water and bring opposite corners together and pinch.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Repeat until filling is gone.
Brush wontons with margarine.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
