Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk and 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in it
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 pt. blueberries
Preparation
    Beat sugar, shortening and eggs together until smooth.
    Add milk and soda mixture and beat well.
    Add flour and mix until smooth.
    Add blueberries.
    Pour into greased muffin tins, 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until brown on top.
