Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Put soda in hot water.
    Mix with buttermilk.
    Set aside. Cream oleo, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour and salt.
    Mix well.
    Add lemon juice.
    Add buttermilk mixture.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
