Basic Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 c. sifted self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0. Grease 12 muffin cups. Set aside.
Break egg into bowl.
Beat lightly with fork.
Stir in milk and shortening. Add flour and sugar.
Stir just until blended. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.
Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 12.
