Homos Bi Tahini(Chickpea Dip) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chickpeas (canned)
    1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
    3 Tbsp. tahini (sesame extract; can be purchased from health food stores)
    salt to taste
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/3 to 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Rinse and drain chickpeas; place in a blender with remaining ingredients.
    Turn on blender, stopping to scrape sides of blender occasionally.
    When well mixed, garnish with olive oil, parsley or ground red pepper.
    Serve on pita bread.
    Serves 8 to 10.
