Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add flour (sifted with salt) alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add flavorings, beating well. Pour into a 10-inch greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    May be frosted with your favorite frosting or glaze or served plain.
