Cake Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    2/3 c. milk
    shortening or oil for frying
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla; beat until thick.
    Add milk and margarine, then 2 1/4 cups flour and other dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Beat just until blended after each addition.
    Stir in remaining 1 cup flour.
    Cover dough and chill.
