Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size firm tomatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. seasoned croutons
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. basil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Arrange tomatoes in a buttered 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Saute celery and onion in butter for 2 minutes.
    Stir in seasons. Set aside 1/4 cup celery mixture; spoon remainder over tomatoes. Combine reserved celery mixture and croutons.
    Tossing gently, spoon over tomatoes.
    Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
