Frontier Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    5 Tbsp. margarine, divided
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (29 oz.) can hominy, drained
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sweet milk, scalded
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation
    Saute onions and pepper in 3 tablespoons margarine.
    Add beef and cook just until pink disappears.
    Add hominy, chili powder and tomato sauce.
    Spoon into a 2-quart casserole.
    Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in a small saucepan.
    Stir in flour, milk and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted.
    Pour over meat mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
