Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and put in a tray of self-rising flour.
    Work in flour to make a soft dough.
    Place in refrigerator and let stand overnight.
    Roll out small balls the size of marbles.
    Then mash and bake at 325\u00b0 until light brown.
    Remove from pan while still warm to cool.
    Store in airtight container.
