Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 pt. scalded milk
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
    1/2 c. flour
    1 box or 2 bunches chopped, fresh broccoli
    mushrooms or cauliflower (optional)
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook chicken broth, onions, peppers and celery in a 3-quart saucepan for 30 minutes.
    Let simmer and add broccoli. Simmer for 15 minutes more.
    Add scalded milk.
    Simmer for 10 minutes more and thicken with melted butter and flour.
    After mixing the 2 ingredients together, let simmer until serving.
