Homemade Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 1/3 c. sugar syrup or to taste
    1 lemon, sliced for garnish
    5 to 6 lemons
Preparation
    Juice lemons enough for 1 cup juice, reserving rinds.
    Combine juice, rinds and 3 1/2 cups water in glass container.
    Cover and set in sun for 4 hours.
    Remove rinds.
    Add sugar syrup to taste and chill.
    Just before serving, add slices to pitcher and serve over ice.
    Makes 1 quart.
