Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. apple cider
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of nutmeg
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    3-inch stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine cider, brown sugar, salt and nutmeg in saucepan.
    Tie spices in cheesecloth and add to cider.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Remove spices.
    Serve hot with orange slices.
