Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. yellow squash
    1/4 c. onion
    pepper to taste
    2 tsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Chop squash and onion fine.
    Add pepper, sugar, flour, beaten eggs and margarine.
    Mix well.
    Shape into cakes.
    Fry until golden brown, turning once.
    Serve warm.
