Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oatmeal
    4 c. boiling water
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    8 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix oatmeal, boiling water and shortening and let cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Now, mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and knead.
    Let rise until doubled.
    Punch down and let rise again.
    Form loaves and let rise.
    Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
