Cabbage For A King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 c. shredded cabbage
3 slices bread, cubed
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 lb. American cheese, cubed
Preparation

Saute onion in 3 tablespoons of butter until tender.
Blend in flour until smooth.
Add tomatoes, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and sugar.
Cook cabbage in small amount of boiling water about 5 minutes.
Lightly brown bread cubes in 1 tablespoon of butter. Arrange in a 2-quart casserole the cabbage, tomato mixture, bread and cheese, ending with bread and cheese.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
