Miss Susie Young'S Christmas Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 lb. mixed fruit
    1 lb. dried figs
    1 lb. almonds
    1 heaping tsp. soda
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 pt. grape juice
    1 c. flour
    2 lb. raisins
    1 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Step One:
    Combine the following as you would any cake mix. First, beat eggs and butter.
    Add sugar.
    Sift 4 cups flour with soda and spices.
    Add to eggs mixture alternately with buttermilk, blackberry jam and grape juice.
    Set aside.
