Cinnamon Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg yolk
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 300\u00b0. Cream the margarine and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolk. Sift flour and cinnamon together and add to above mixture.
    Spread thinly on a large cookie sheet.
    Press chopped pecans into dough. Spread beaten egg white over the top. Bake for 1 hour.
    Do not cook until brown or they will taste scorched. Cut into squares or strips while hot.
