Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. light syrup
1 c. Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. Nestle butterscotch chips
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Special K cereal
Preparation

Combine sugar and syrup in a 3-quart pan and cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until mixture begins to bubble.
Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter, mixing well. Add Special K, mixing until blended.
Pour mixture into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Melt Nestles together over low
heat, stirring until well blended.
Remove from heat and spoon evenly over Special K mixture.
Cool and cut into bars.
Makes 48 (2 x 1-inch) bars.
