Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 egg whites (room temperature)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. whipping cream *
2 c. miniature marshmallows
cherry pie filling or other pie fillings (I have used fresh strawberries)

Preparation

*I use Cool Whip (about 2 1/2 cups).
