Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) can or jar sauerkraut, washed and drained
    1 small can chopped pimento
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Bring the first 4 ingredients together. Boil, then cool.
    Add sugar, salad oil and vinegar.
    Mix all together and let stand overnight in the refrigerator in a covered dish.
    Serves 12.
    Very good with barbecue.
