Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. okra
1 onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. crab boil
1 large chicken
1 stick margarine
celery, green pepper and garlic (optional)
roux
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. celery salt
Preparation

Saute onion and okra in melted margarine.
Cook chicken in water; remove and debone.
To broth, add tomato paste, crab boil, chicken and sauteed vegetables (celery, green pepper and garlic should be sauteed along with onion and okra, if desired.)
Add salts and roux.
