Broccoli, Ham And Rice Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    6 oz. roll sharp processed cheese, sliced
    8 oz. can sliced mushrooms
    10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
    3 c. cooked rice
    2 c. cooked ham, diced
    2 oz. jar diced pimentos
    1 can onion rings
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a Dutch oven and saute the onion until tender.
    Add the soup, garlic powder and cheese.
    Stir until cheese has melted.
    Drain the mushrooms and the broccoli and add to the mixture along with the rice and the cooked, diced ham.
    Drain the pimentos and gently stir in the mixture.
    Spoon into a lightly greased baking dish.
    Cover and chill for 8 hours to let the flavors blend.
    When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator for 30 minutes.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Remove cover and scatter crumbled onion rings on top.
    Return to oven and bake for 5 to 8 minutes more.
    Serves 6 to 8.
