Do-Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
Preparation
    Put shortening, sugar and salt into a bowl. Stir in boiling water.
    Add milk.
    Cool to warm.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup
    warm water and add sugar.
    Stir in egg and 2 cups flour.
