Halupkes(Cabbage Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heads green cabbage
    2 large cans sauerkraut
    2 qt. (approximately) tomato sauce
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 to 1 c. barley
    1 large onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. m.s.g. (Accent)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Parboil 2 cabbages, after removing core, until most outer leaves are soft.
