Bean Soup(Easy And Good) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium tomato, chopped
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans ready-to-serve chicken broth or 1 qt. frozen broth
    1 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 3/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. celery flakes or fresh celery
    3 (16 oz.) cans Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in Dutch oven in oil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Add tomato.
    Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add broth, water, basil, oregano and celery.
    Boil. Then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
    Add beans, macaroni and pepper.
    Boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
    Stir.
    Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
