Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 baked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    red food coloring
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Save nicest berries out whole. Mash up ripest berries and mix with sugar and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook until clear (about 5 minutes). Stir constantly. Add red food coloring and butter. Stir in whole berries and pour into cooled pie crust. Chill overnight. Top with whipped cream.
