Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. diced chicken
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 c. pimento
Preparation
    Saute green pepper and mushrooms in margarine in a 10-inch skillet until tender.
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; add to vegetables, stirring until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Gradually add chicken broth and half and half.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
    Stir in chicken and pimento.
    Cook until thoroughly heated.
    Serve over toast, cornbread or rice.
