Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugars, water and salt, stirring frequently, over medium heat until mixture will spin a good thread.
    Pour syrup over beaten egg whites.
    Continue beating constantly.
    Add vanilla. When stiff enough, drop by spoon onto waxed paper.
    Makes 36 medium pieces.
