Sour Cream Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped dried figs
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 c. (2 1/4 sticks) butter or oleo
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    2 large eggs
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Mix figs, nuts, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar in a mixing bowl.
    Cream sugar and butter; beat in eggs.
    Gently beat in sour cream and vanilla; blend in flour mixture.
    Pour in oiled Bundt pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
