Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans crescent rolls (16 rolls)
    2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Granny Smith apples
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    12 oz. Mountain Dew
Preparation
    Peel and core apples and make 32 slices. Unroll crescent rolls (16). On each roll, place 2 slices of apple; roll up and place in a 9 x 13 pan. Melt the butter. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Spoon over dumplings. Pour Mountain Dew around dumplings. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes longer.
