Chicken A La King Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 or 6 oz.) pkg. (3 1/2 c.) medium egg noodles
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
    1 tsp. salt
    8 oz. cubed Velveeta
    2 c. diced cooked chicken or turkey
    1 c. celery slices
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. diced pimiento
    1 c. slivered almonds
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook noodles until tender.
    Drain.
    Mix soup, milk and salt. Heat and add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Add remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup almonds and bread crumbs.
    Mix with noodles and put into a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
    Top with crumbs and remaining almonds.
    Bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Can make casserole ahead and top with crumbs just before baking.
