Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. flavoring (preferably almond)
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening; add sugar and cream some more. Add eggs, one at a time and beat after each.
    Alternate flour and milk, ending with flour.
    Add flavoring.
    Pour into a greased and floured angel food cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0, starting with a cold oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
