Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. sliced, unpeeled cucumbers
3 large onions, sliced
3 large green peppers, sliced
2 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric powder
Preparation
-
Layer first three ingredients in a gallon jar.
Mix last five ingredients well.
Heat until sugar is melted, then pour over pickles in jar.
Store in refrigerator.
Ready to eat after 3 days.
